The Eastern Prelacy’s annual weeklong St. Gregory of Datev Institute Summer Program has been in session since Sunday, July 2, at the St. Mary of Providence Center in Elverson, Pennsylvania, with the participation of 38 students and 12 clergymen and lay leaders.
Tomorrow, Friday, July 7, His Eminence Archbishop Anoushavan, Prelate, will visit St. Mary’s and will speak to the Datevatsis and spend the day with them.
On Sunday, July 9, the weeklong program will conclude with the celebration of the Divine Liturgy (Soorp Badarak) at St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Church of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Srpazan Hayr will preside over the services, including the requiem service for the deceased Datevatsis and the benefactors of the Datev Institute from the Philadelphia community: Kaloust Karakelian and Asdghig Kazanjian.
