On Sunday, September 17, on occasion of the feast of the Exaltation of the Cross, His Eminence Archbishop Anoushavan, Prelate, celebrated the Divine Liturgy and delivered the sermon at St. Hagop Church in Niagara Falls, New York. He was joined at the altar by Archpriest Fr. Zareh Sahagian, Archdeacon Raffi Bardakjian, Dn. Steve Karageozian, and Dn. Haroutyoun Minoyan.
After the Divine Liturgy, the traditional blessing of the basil took place followed by a ceremony in the parish hall to award certificates of recognition for Rachel Aversa and Sonia Gregian for their long service to the church.
