SCHOOL YEAR BEGINS AT SIAMANTO ACADEMY

With an opening prayer and remarks by His Eminence Archbishop Anoushavan, Prelate, on Saturday, September 23, the Siamanto Academy kicked off the 2023-24 school year. In his message, the Prelate wished students a good return to class and highlighted the importance of such educational initiatives in the Diaspora, following which the students had the chance to meet their teachers and ask questions.

The Academy began in 1981, giving 13-18-year-olds an Armenian education with Armenian language, history, and culture lessons.

Students have been attending with enthusiasm the Armenian language, arts, and music classes. Once a month, they will have the opportunity to participate in experts’ lectures and learn about a variety of topics.

Even though classes have already begun, Siamanto still accepts and encourages enrollments.
