The Eastern Prelacy, through its imprint Sis Publications, has sponsored the publication of “Listen, Lord,” («Ունկն դիր, Տէ՜ր», in Armenian), a prayer book by Rev. Fr. Barouyr Shernezian, Dean of the Armenian Theological Seminary at the Holy See of Cilicia. The volume has just been published simultaneously in Armenian and English (translated by Avedis Hadjian).
The book contains 100 prayers for a variety of circumstances, written in plain language. The goal is to help articulate feelings, concerns, and questions addressed to God and, at the same time, find comfort, inner strength, and peace by way of prayers.
