On March 24, Palm Sunday, Rev. Fr. Mesrob Lakissian welcomed the seventh-grade students of the Vahan and Anoush Chamlian Armenian School in Glendale, California, on their first visit to St. Illuminator’s Cathedral as part of a class trip to New York and Washington DC. Fr. Mesrob. greeted forty-six students, the Principal, Dr. Talin Kargodorian, their chaperones, and their parents, giving them a tour of the Cathedral, providing interesting historical highlights, praying together in the sanctuary and taking communion. Later, the students enjoyed snacks and fellowship at the Pashalian Hall.
