BACK-TO-SCHOOL DAY ARRIVES THREE-FOLD IN WATERTOWN

The Armenian community of Watertown marked a threefold back-to-school day on Sunday, September 21, as students, families, and faculty gathered for a day of prayer, food, and fellowship.
The traditional Antasdan procession for the Feast of the Exaltation of the Cross culminated in a special prayer and blessing for the students of St. Stephen’s Elementary, Saturday, and Sunday Schools, followed by a prayer dedicated to the 34th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Armenia. The school and church boards then hosted an afternoon of lunch and activities on Artsakh Street and the church grounds, bringing the community together in celebration.
