TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAM FOCUSES ON ARMENIAN AS A SECOND LANGUAGE

For the 2025–2026 academic year, the Eastern Prelacy’s Armenian National Education Committee’s Teacher Training Program focuses on a central and timely theme: “How to Teach Armenian as a Second Language.” The first session of the program took place on Saturday, October 11, with the participation of more than thirty teachers from the Prelacy’s schools. 

The session’s lecturer, Jacqueline Marashlian, who has many years of experience teaching English as a Second Language in American public schools, shared valuable insights and practical teaching methods drawn from her extensive experience. The next lecture will take place on December 6.
