Dear Sponsor,
This is Anna, mother of your sponsored child, Lina. Lina was born on January 3, 2019, in the city of Stepanakert. She was one year old when my husband was killed in the war. She was little, but this loss affected her very much. She went to a child psychiatrist for 6 months and now she is doing better. She used to stand, watch the wall, and speak to herself, and she would tell me that she was speaking to her father.
In 2023, we were forced to leave everything and move to Yerevan. Here, she goes to kindergarten, but she has difficulty coping. She only draws pictures of Tatik-Papik (famous sculpture on the way to Stepanakert) or the flag of Artsakh. Her teacher tells me that she has many children formerly from Artsakh, but Lina misses it the most and it seems that she has difficulty adapting. She always tells her teacher that she wants to go back home.
We really hope that one day we will be able to visit our home.
