CHURCH OF THE MARTYRS HOSTS ANNUAL JOINT CHRISTMAS SERVICE

On Friday, December 19, clergy and the faithful from the Armenian Church of Our Savior, Holy Trinity Church, the Church of the Martyrs (Worcester), and Soorp Asdvadzadzin Church in Whitinsville came together in Worcester for their annual joint Christmas worship service. The service, now in its fourth year, is a cherished tradition among the local Armenian churches, with each parish taking turns serving as host. This year, the Church of the Martyrs welcomed the community as host.

The service featured the participation of the children’s choir, directed by Linda Bullock, who led the congregation in traditional Christmas hymns sung in both Armenian and English. Throughout the evening, clergy from the participating churches offered scripture readings and brief reflections, emphasizing the spiritual meaning of the season and the unity shared among the parishes.

The evening concluded with a closing prayer offered by the Very Rev. Fr. Ardag Arabian, followed by a time of fellowship hosted by the Church of the Martyrs in the church hall.
