Dear Sponsor,

This is Elen. I was born on December 11, 2015, in Stepanakert. During my life, I saw three wars. I was four months old during the Four-Day War; then, in 2020, I was in kindergarten when the 44-Day War started. I remember that my father sent us to Yerevan to be safe, but he was killed on November 6. I was only four years old at that time. Then, my mother told me that we had to go back to Artsakh, and we did. I went to school there and soon the blockade started and all the roads were closed. After that, I saw the third war of my life, in September of 2023, during which we were dislocated.

Currently, we live in Yerevan. I go to school here. I was accepted very warmly here, but I adapted with difficulty because I was missing my Artsakh friends. Now, I am already in 4th grade in school #96. I also go to dance classes in the afterschool program. I love drawing pictures very much. I have two big dreams: I want my father to come back, which is not possible, and I want to go back to Artsakh.
