THE YEAR OF SPIRITUAL RENEWAL

In line with a tradition established under his pontificate of dedicating the year to working for a cause, His Holiness Catholicos Aram I has issued a proclamation declaring 2026 to be the Year of Spiritual Renewal. In his encyclical, His Holiness presents an overview of the current challenges, including an inclination towards merely performative religiosity, and outlines a roadmap for achieving spiritual renewal following the ways prescribed by our Church. We will provide the full proclamation following its reading during the Divine Liturgy on Sunday, January 25, in the churches within the Eastern Prelacy jurisdiction.
