Letters from Armenia

Mané – 03/12/26

This week’s letter is from Mané (*), who is sponsored by Mr. and Mrs. Jirair Moughamian.

Dear Sponsor,

I am Mané, from Martouni, in Artsakh. I was born on October 1, 2020, during the 44-Day War. My father was fighting for the freedom of Artsakh, and he learned about my birth over the phone. My father was killed during that war, and he never got a chance to see me. I hear about my father from the stories that my mom tells me. She tells me that he is a hero and fought bravely so that me, my sisters, and my brother live in peace.

Dear Sponsor, my mother, sisters, brother, and I currently live in Armavir, Armenia. My brother is learning the hairdresser’s profession; my sisters go to school; and I go to kindergarten. Since I am little and cannot read and write yet, my mom is writing this letter for me. I am very grateful to you for helping our family.

I pray to God to give you a long and healthy life and much success so that you can continue supporting our family. I am very glad that you are my sponsor.

May God protect you.

With love,

Mané
