Syuzi – 03/26/26
This week’s letter is from Syuzi (*), who is sponsored by Mr. and Mrs. Richard Shahtanian.

Dear Sponsor,
This is Syuzi, the oldest daughter of the 44-Day War hero Vladimir. I am 12 years old and live in Jermuk. I live with my grandmother, mother, sister, and brother. In my spare time, I help my mother by playing with my little brother.
I go to English and math classes in the after-school program, and I go to Tumo Center alongside my studies at school. I love Tumo – I receive new and interesting knowledge there. I do my best to be a good student because my father always wanted that. I am a 7th grade student at Jermuk’s Educational Center. My favorite subjects in school are algebra and English.
I am a friendly person. When any of my friends is sad, I try to help him or her. We often go out for walks with my friends.
I always remember my father. I am very proud of him. People often tell me that I resemble him: my face as well as my character. That makes me very happy. I know that my father is not with us in body, but he is with us in spirit. I miss him a lot, but our mother does everything to raise us well.
I am very grateful to you for your support and for not forgetting about us.
