PRELATE DISCUSSES HERITAGE PRESERVATION

On Friday, May 1, His Eminence Archbishop Anoushavan, Prelate, received the visit of Mr. Raffi Kortoshian, an architectural engineer and co-director of the Research on Armenian Architecture Foundation in Armenia. The meeting provided an opportunity for an engaging discussion on the need to document and protect Armenian historical monuments as well as raise awareness about their destruction. The visitor was accompanied by Arevig Caprielian, member of the Central Board of Hamazkayin, and Hrair Baronian, from Hamazkayin of New Jersey.
