The Creed (Havadamk) professed by billions of Christians throughout the world is the official declaration of the Christian faith, formulated by the Holy Fathers of the first two ecumenical councils of the Church: Nicea (325) and Constantinople (381). For centuries, the Creed has been incorporated into the Divine Liturgy of all ancient apostolic churches.

In Commentary on the Nicene Creed, Archbishop Zareh Aznavorian discusses the Creed line by line, phrase by phrase, offering a clear and concise biblical and theological interpretation.

The book also includes an appendix comprised of the two other creeds used by the Armenian Apostolic Church: the baptismal creed and the confession of the orthodox faith of the Armenian Church.
