This is a biographical sketch of General Dro (Drastamat Kanayan, 1884-1956), one of the heroic figures of the early twentieth century. Simon Vratsian, the last prime minister of the first Republic of Armenia, was comrade-of-arms and friend to Dro. He gives interesting insights on the man and his deeds in a lively account.
