Sumbat (Der Kiureghian, 1913-1999) was a master Armenian-Iranian watercolorist who achieved great fame in Iran. He moved to California after the Iranian Revolution. His works are considered Iranian national treasures. This catalogue includes an extensive biographical essay prepared by his son, Armen Der Kiureghian, and reproductions of several of his 10,000 paintings.
