This album has a comprehensive foreword and annotations to all 464 color and black and white photographs, including the rare ones. Most photographs are published for the first time. Along with the most significant historical and architectonic monuments, manuscripts, miniatures, and artistic items, the album describes some Armenian monuments of the region of Utik and makes reference to villages and monument of Northern Artsakh-Karabagh.

The album is one of its kind and confirms explicitly that Artsakh is a historically Armenian territory and that its rich culture is an inseparable part of Armenian cultural heritage.
