Mrs. Nevair Oranjian Babajanyan was the presenter during the Sunday School teacher training program
The Prelacy’s Christian Education Department held its fourth monthly session of an 8-part virtual Sunday School teacher training program on Monday, January 10, from 7:30-9:00 pm, with the participation of 15 teachers and directors. Very Rev. Fr. Sahag Yemishian, Vicar of the Eastern Prelacy, opened the session with a prayer.
Mrs. Nevair Oranjian Babajanyan presented the second of her 4-part lecture series on enhancing pedagogical skills, this session focusing on “Lesson Planning.” Nevair holds a master’s degree in Educational Psychology. She is an adjunct lecturer at City University of New York (CUNY) and Florida Institute of Technology. Nevair first highlighted different theories of development. She then delved into how to effectively lesson plan. The presentation was punctuated with questions and discussions.
Next month, on Monday, February 7, Nayiri Baljian will speak on the Nicene Creed.
