ARCHPRIEST FR. NERSES MANOOGIAN SHARES THE JOY OF THE ARMENIAN CATHOLIC CHURCH IN NEW JERSEY

During his inaugural pastoral visit to New Jersey and New York communities, the newly elected Patriarch of the Armenian Catholic Church, His Beatitude Raphael Bedros XXI, celebrated Holy Mass at the Sacred Heart Armenian Catholic Church of Little Falls, New Jersey, on Sunday, July 10. 

Most Reverend Mikael Mouradian, Bishop of the Armenian Catholic Eparchy of our Lady of Nareg, extended an invitation to our Prelate, His Eminence Archbishop Anoushavan to attend this celebratory Holy Mass and the ensuing welcoming banquet. Being out of the country for the consecration of the Holy Muron, Anoushavan Srpazan delegated Rev. Archpriest Fr. Nerses Manoogian, Pastor Emeritus of St. Gregory the Illuminator Church of Philadelphia and Prelacy’s Ecumenical Relations Officer, to represent him. 

At the conclusion of the Holy Mass, during the fellowship hour, Der Nerses in his speech, on behalf of Archbishop Anoushavan, welcomed His Beatitude to the East Coast and congratulated him on his election as the 21st Patriarch of the Armenian Catholic Church, wishing him success in his new mission in these trying times.
