The year-long Teachers Training Program sponsored by the Armenian National Education Committee (ANEC) started on Saturday, September 16, with the participation of more than 25 teachers, who followed with gran interest the first class of Dr. Hagop Tcholakian on Armenian language and literature.
The lecture series will have a total of 18 classes to be held every two weeks. Besides language and literature, history, Armenian Church and faith, culture, and technology will part of the curriculum.
The goal of the course is to enrich the knowledge of Armenian subjects by teachers at East Coast Armenian schools, which will complement their pedagogical skills and contribute to improve the level of teaching.
