The clergy of the Eastern Prelacy marked the Sts. Ghevontiants feast on Tuesday, February 6, with a conference call presided over by His Eminence Archbishop Anoushavan, Prelate, to come together in prayer and reflection on this significative date in the Armenian Church calendar.
Following the religious ceremony, Rev. Fr. Vahan Kouyoumdjian offered a reflection in which he exalted the figure of the servant of Christ. The Prelate then conveyed the greetings and message of His Holiness Catholicos Aram I, highlighting his proclamation of 2024 as the “Year of Human Resources Preparation.” Very Rev. Fr. Boghos Tinkjian, chairman of the Religious Council, managed the meeting and invited participants to provide their input regarding the proclamation.
Participants coincided in calling for the creation of a system enabling recruitment of new workforce within the Armenian life, taking into account shortfalls to fill positions that are becoming acute.
