ARCHBISHOP ANOUSHAVAN AND COL. ARAM SARAFIAN TO REPRESENT PRELACY AT CENTRAL EXECUTIVE COUNCIL MEETING

His Eminence Archbishop Anoushavan, Prelate, and Col. Aram Sarafian, Chairman of the Executive Council of the Eastern Prelacy, will attend the Central Executive Council meeting at the Holy See in Antelias, Lebanon, on March 12-14, during which members of the clergy will offer presentations on a wide range of topics, including religious education, youth outreach, interchurch and interreligious relations. Archbishop Anoushavan will offer a presentation on “Social and Moral Issues” on Tuesday.

This will also be the occasion for the official opening of the Khoren I Center.

Next Thursday, on the last day of the meeting, His Holiness Catholicos Aram I will open the meeting with a lecture on “The Process of Reorganization of the Diaspora,” followed by reports from the Prelacies on the projects underway or planned in that regard.

In addition to the standard agenda items including auditing and minutes approval, the meeting will also discuss proposals and concerns by the Prelacies around the world. There will also be separate sessions with each Prelacy delegations.

Upon the conclusion of CEC meeting, the participants are scheduled to attend three audiences with the Catholicos on March 15-16. The program will end on Sunday, March 17, with the Divine Liturgy.
