HIS HOLINESS URGES VICE PRESIDENT VANCE TO SECURE THE RELEASE OF ARMENIAN PRISONERS IN BAKU

His Holiness Catholicos Aram I urged Vice President JD Vance to intervene to secure the release of the Armenian prisoners of war held in Baku as well and to ensure the safeguarding of the spiritual and cultural monuments in Artsakh.

In the letter addressed to Mr. Vance, the Catholicos also wrote that international law clearly underscores both the importance of releasing prisoners of war and the necessity of protecting spiritual and cultural heritage.

The Vice President is scheduled to visit Armenia and Azerbaijan next week.
