ARCHPRIEST FR. NERSES MANOOGIAN PRESENTS THIRD LENTEN LECTURE ON THE COUNCILS OF THE ARMENIAN APOSTOLIC CHURCH

The third session of the six-part Lenten Program took place on March 4 at St. Illuminator’s Cathedral in New York City and was presided over by His Eminence Archbishop Anoushavan, Prelate. Also in attendance was V. Rev. Fr. Vache Balekjian, Pastor of Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Church in Ridgefield, New Jersey.
Following the Husgoom Service, Archpriest Fr. Nerses Manoogian delivered a presentation titled “Councils of the Armenian Apostolic Church.” Fr. Nerses, Pastor Emeritus of St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Church (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), has served for many years on the Religious Council of the Eastern Prelacy and is a founding instructor of the St. Gregory of Datev Institute. He is also the author of several books, most recently The Important National Councils of the Armenian Apostolic Church through the Centuries.
