His Holiness Catholicos Aram I of the Great House of Cilicia expressed his solidarity to His Holiness Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II in a telephone conversation on Tuesday, May 7, communicating his support for the statement published by the Supreme Religious Council of Holy Etchmiadzin hours before about the situation in Armenia.
The Catholicoi exchanged views about the challenges Armenia faces, especially in the light of the developments originating in the Tavush region. Their Holinesses decided to continue their consultations, stressing the key role of the Armenian Church in overcoming the troubles affecting the Armenian people and Armenia.
